An experienced guide leads you for an interesting historical art walk of one and a half hour through the oldest part of The Hague. You are informed about the origin of The Hague and view the beautiful city palaces and Royal estates. In "Het Binnenhof" (inner court) the history of our seat of government is clarified by means of the century-old architecture.

The guide is flexible and it is possible to extend the city walk by, for example, an historical art tour of the museum (art gallery) 'het Mauritshuis'. In this seventeenth century city palace topexibitions are held regularly beside the exceptional permanent collection of paintings from the Golden Age of Dutch art. It is also possible to visit the permanent exhibition of M.C. Escher in 'Paleis Lange Voorhout', the former palace of Queen Emma.

The guide, if desired, will point out the best shopping addresses and trendy restaurants.
